After graduation, she completed her dietetic internship through Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Throughout the internship she gained over 1400 supervised intensive hours in clinical and community nutrition, including neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, sports nutrition, nutrition support, endocrinology, oncology and transplant.
